He was in the field of play, in fair territory….he’s supposed to be in the running lane, in foul territory. Interference, easy call.

That’s such a bad call. He was running on the chalk

One pitch, Petry out.
Sweet.
Ben explaining it now. Says it's legit. Even by a centimeter.
I guess I'm good with it. But mostly because we're up 7.

That was a terrible call, the ball hit his right hip, no way that play would have ever been made

Investigate this ump for betting on the game.

There isn’t an orange base. He got hit in the right kidney touching the right corner of the bag.

People don’t understand the rule
You have to be inside the runners lane only to exit it on your last step. If you interfere with the play outside the line you are called out. Trav was outside the line and the runner could have been retired.

Ive heard that rule before and its still bullshite to me. The base is inside the line. Doesnt give you hardly any room to step

I love Ben low key bagging on the fun police this season. He's been on point.

Stupid fricking rule. To me it looked like the reason he stepped inside was to push off and go more outside.

quote:I looked up this. He is allowed to move into the line and over as he approaches the base.
He was in the field of play, in fair territory….he’s supposed to be in the running lane, in foul territory. Interference, easy call.
quote:
Runner runs to first running inside the running lane and is hit with the ball before touching first base on his last step as he moves over to touch first base.
Correct call: runner is safe
Explanation: The runner is allowed to move over out of the running lane to touch first base and clearly if he is moving over at the end of the running lane, his intent is to touch first base and not interfere with the throw.

That call lacked all common sense that anybody would expect one to have.

I hope in the off-season these coaches/ ADs talk to the SEC about how awful these officials have been all year or something of that nature. It’s gotten beyond ridiculous.
