South Alabama has scored 135 point in its last TWO games - UPSET ALERT!

And held both opponents to 14 or less. These were not shootouts. I don't care who they were playing, I don't care they lost to Ohio game one. Their offense is firing on all cylinders right now.
Too many here looking forward to the Ole Miss game. Are we that confident in our defense? Do you really believe we'll have a comfortable lead at half? I don't. Matter of fact, I'm blowing the UPSET ALERT siren right fricking now.

Major Applewhite is a BR kid too. He’ll bring out all the stops…wouldn’t be shocked if he’s a HC in the SEC in a few years

If we start playing less conservative on offense and start using weapons like Caden and Zavion more, I think we start to become a carbon copy of last year where we can score with anyone and just need the defense to step up once in awhile.
Last year, that defense couldn't do that. This year, we're making stops on occasion and even more surprising, causing turnovers.

The board sky fallers overreach so much.
Major got fired at Houston a short time ago and is 2-2 at USA but hes going to be a head coach in the SEC soon.
That’s ignoring OFF the field stuff that would be a concern for high level programs.

Based on what exactly?

He went through the analyst program at Alabama.
He’s a big name that fell from grace. A 2nd chance wouldn’t be crazy. Guess you thought Sark would never be a coach again too?
Not saying he will be one but when you have Hugh freeze at auburn. It wouldn’t be shocking

They won’t beat LSU. Nuss Buss is starting to get a full head of steam.

Saban fired him after one season as OC

WE ARW FANS. WE DON’T HAVE TO FOCUS ON THE NEXT GAME. OR ANY GAME FOR THAT MATTER.
Is my focus gonna help the team win?
And we will not get upset by USA.
It will look just like every other LSU game. Come out and look like arse for the first half. Then midway through the third quarter we will pull away for another lackluster win.
It’s so predictable at this point, no one should be surprised

Not a bad take at all. I may sprinkle ml on south Alabama. Definitely taking the spread of south Alabama. I’m 4-0 betting against lsu this year

Major Applewhite is and always has been a schmuck

There are reasons for that.

If you’re scared say it then. This board has become soft.

Please. Applewhite needs to stay where he is. The G5 is his level. He wasn’t even a good major conference OC.

This team is always on upset alert because it simply has some deficiencies, particularly on the defensive side of the ball that are personnel related and aren’t modifiable.
I feel certain the talent advantage will carry the day, but it might well be uncomfortable for a while. USA QB looked inaccurate to me and will put the ball at risk. He will throw up 50/50 balls and our DBs are prone to PI calls because they are not great at looking for the ball.
I think unless Nuss is off and Sloan has a bad day or BK makes poor decisions leaving points all over the field, we will be too much for them to handle on offense. But again, I expect some hand wringing and worry for at least some for the game.

Major Applewhite is a big name? I guess if you go by the number of letters in his name you might have an argument. Otherwise … no.
