I would forego his services this year since it would likely create an opportunity to recruit a great back in next year's class. We haven't had one of those in a while.

I'm sure there are a few players taking a correspondence/intersession class to get their hours or gpa to where it needs to be. Whether he's one of them, we won't know until it's time to play, but he has to be eligible or at least close otherwise he couldn't practice.

You have to be a special breed of idiot to miss eligibility on grades. Having less thab 2.3 with a massive army of tutoring staff at your disposal is a a combination of stupidity and laziness— and that is whether you are talking a RB OR a WR headed to JUCO.
