don’t see how you can put him out there again.
he was actually doing well before he got hurt 2 yrs in a row. We shouldn't let him go he has given so much to lsu to try and stick with it. Say what you want but a fully healthy emery is better than durham.

Douche comment on Kelly's part. Of course we are set at the rb spot but to get on msm and basically say hey bro, you can't play here anymore is a shiate comment. Dude gave 6 yrs to lsu.

What about 2 knee injury John Emery? Because that’s all that matters.

John Emery was born in the 1990s, y'all.

(Okay, I'm exaggerating, but only slightly so)

It’s been the same story since he announced he was playing another year. People just incorrectly assumed it would be at LSU

You’d figure coach would let him back on team just for the optics. LSU grad, perseverance through adversity, etc.

Yeah but Emery needs touches for his own sake and we seem to have rebuilt around/without him already.

I don't disagree.

It's probably better for Emery to go somewhere where he can get the bulk of the touches and showcase himself. I was only responding to coach saying the RB room is already full - if that's true.

Emery - without playing time requirements - would be a great example for the team of a guy who graduated, fought back from multiple injuries and is still fighting through.

I said this in a different thread, he should go to ULM. They lost their 1,300 yard rusher to Missouri and they are built to run the ball. If he really wants to show his recovery, go where the carries are.

OR...Kelly was honest with him and said that he couldn't get much playing time, giving him time to find a place where he can be a good fit.

Not every damned thing has to be automatically criticized and turned into a conspiracy theory.

You folks should go watch the press conference and see what was actually said before trying to form an opinion.

How was I conspiracy theorizing anything?

I was commenting that the optics part would be a win due to Emery's journey.

Aren’t our only RBs Durham, Jackson and Harlem Berry right now? Feel like you could definitely have more.

Kinda my thoughts in light of CBK saying we're set at RB. If Holly is still a ?, then why wouldn't Emery be an option?

Sounds like they feel like Holly would be back next year by that comment . If he is not they definitely have to go into the spring portal for a veteran running back.
