wanted him before we hired Kelly. I wanted him last year.
He flat out shite the bed for the second time this year and got out-coached and lost to a lesser team.
He doesn’t have a feel for each game and how the “personality” of a game is unfolding.
He may not be that good.

I have always felt this way for as long as I have watched his game. Im not sure he is "the man", but O and Les won so Ill give him anothet year.

Sam has been a real problem but it’s lane kiffin’s job to make the most of a 50 million dollar roster. I can love the guy all day but 6-3 at this point is a joke.

Leavitt is top 10 in the country in yards and total TDs.

He’s not a “real problem”.

He is a problem if you think he’s above taking three points and can’t execute. I don’t care about his numbers when we’re 6-3. He’s been a critical reason we lost to ole Miss and Alabama, not sure how it can be denied.

It can be denied because it’s stupid. Blaming the quarterback for offensive issues is the laziest, and dumbest, argument there is.

Ole Miss’ current roster is littered with guys from the portal in year 2 or 3.

Of course there are other problems besides Sam but having some impressive numbers propped up against bad teams doesn’t invalidate his real issues in critical moments against the three actual legitimate teams we’ve played.

I think he’ll have a huge year two with lane but for now this has to improve.

Don’t let the fact that Pete Golding is a fricking bum distract you from what Kiffin and Glasscock built over there.

His game management was the one thing that made me hesitant hiring kiffin. Always going for it on 4 down especially early in the game is so frustrating. A turnover on downs is so demoralizing because you had such a great drive and get no points and you always have to make it up.

Again he followed his intuition to his benefit and gain much better than at LSU. I feel like we’re robotic and rigid most of the time this season. Have a little feel for frick’s sake.

Lane reminds me of when you have your eye on someone and you think that they are so perfect and would make such a great fit for a relationship but then as that shine wears off over time you realize that instead of a 10 you got a 2.

Well that’s fricking dumb. He’s clearly a good coach. But he needs to be himself.

He has really struggled with the in game "got for it" decisions this year that make him so dangerous as a coach. It's the curse of the coach who always plays the odds and goes for it. Great when it works or even when there isn't much second guessing. Not so great when it doesn't work or when there is a lot of second guessing. A lot of second guessing himself this season!

He goes for it when he probably shouldn't... and doesnt when he probably should.

In a game of this magnitude, in the 1st half, you gotta take every opportunity to put points on the board if the game is close. Especially after a long 10+ play drive that stalled. Kick the Fk'ing FG.

Lane was much better feeling games out at ole Miss with no pressure. He needs to bring that here, that’s what we hoped we hired

At least he has celebrities hanging out with him and the players get to “dunk” on the sidelines.

This has nothing to do with Lane’s ebb and flow of the game. I don’t see any downside to Lane doing anything he can to bolster the program’s image and notoriety.

You are correct because he converted back to Joey Freshwater. He needs to shut down the vitamin D and stop all the distractions. Tell Sam Leavitt to stay out of tiger land cause you not a kiddo anymore you are a professional athlete. Then he may touch the feet of uncle Nick. He is the best offensive mind in the game but he won’t take the points and his gambles always hit snack eyes. Redzone needs serious work cause he is absolute shyte.

He's so off this year on his 4th down decisions it's pathetic I think he has no clue at this point what to do maybe it's the stress of the job vs at Ole Miss I don't know but he's going to continue losing a lot of games if he doesn't get it under control

Reading this board you’d think the players have no role in a game

Landry’s has all he could ever want here. Money, organic players, facilities, incredible support LSU and the fans.

In this day and age, we expect quick results. We paid massively for Lane and the Players. We no longer require “patience” to build a roster as it can be done very quickly through the portal with enough money. And we gave him the money to do it.

It’s becoming clear that he’s a lot of show and not much substance.

Can’t wait to move on from Lane and get a real coach
