I love LSU as much as the next guy. I get upset after losses and overjoyed after wins. But some of you make it sound like a death in the family. I want the program to do well but at the end of the day it's a game. Too many of you let it affect your everyday lives. Root on the tigers and scream at the top of your lungs, but after it's over, it's over. Move on.
Great post...

LSU forever

Agreed
It is easier to stay humble in victory, than it is to stay honorable in defeat. This is where one's character is defined.

The fanbase didn't care about the CF Bowl, guess what, neither did the players
It was the most viewed non bcs bowl game in the country.

I agree it's taken way too seriously. The reason these coaches get paid an insane amount of money to coach a game is because of the off the charts interest in college football. You can't have it both ways. Either people are interested and coaches get paid a lot or people are indifferent and coaches get paid like teachers.

People who stress out over what anonymous message board posters post, and try to psychoanalyze them based on said posts... well, kettle meet pot, pot meet kettle.

Do you think the people who believe Les Miles walks on water matter to Les Miles? He doesn't care how much you believe in him. You are nothing to him. He has his 4 million a year and doesn't care if you are his biggest supporter. Les is talked about by some people like he is Mother Theresa.

True.
He should stop by the Political Board and spread his life changing words.
And don't forget to tell him to bring up religion, too.

I rant and rave, jump up and down, and screen and holler from about about 1/2 hour before kick off till about 1/2 hour after the game.To me it is just entertainment.I love keeping up with the Tigers, but win or lose it just for FUN.If I was not having fun I would drop it.
