There are alot of F`n IDIOTS on these boards. You THINK you know
aout football but you don`t. If anyone on this board thinks LSU is loaded with
a roster full of SEC talent you have your head up your arse.Goi look at how
many TRUE FRESHMAN they are having to play on Defense.Do you
IDIOTS really believe A team can go into a crazy environment against a PROGRAM thats had 5 solid years of recruiting against a program with
2 solid recruiting classes.Open your eyes and see the light.

I question this. Where are all the super-sophs from the '23 class? Weeks has been very good. But who else?

Let me help you with that:

2023 LSU Tigers Football Commits

Bear in mind that we're talking about redshirt freshmen.

Redshirt freshmen don't typically start.

If they do start, they are usually inexperienced.

It's difficult and unusual to be a superstar as a redshirt freshmen.

He is not an affable, likeable nor charismatic personality. He just isn't.
He is not "one of us" nor does he "talk like us". Some of our low IQ fans think this is important.
He is from the north and gained much of his notoriety at Notre Dame. Also not endearing.
Thus some of our fans will probably never like him.
None of that is important to me. I am interested in him building a championship program in a reasonable time.
I grade him as someone who demanded and got top three or four HC salary package. We should expect elite results.
I do not think we are on schedule but like next year's recruiting class.

Those 7 loses (Final Polls Rankings)

1 UGA
6 Tennessee
10 FSU
5 Alabama
6 FSU
9 Ole Miss

a&m (14 at the time currently 11/10)

its not exactly like he gets to play a bunch of 16-25 ranked teams.

How many teams have a great record vs top 10 teams the last 3 years?

You’re right and this why most of the good board members from years ago went to premium boards. Most of the negative posters here don’t know anything about college sports and just want something to complain about. There were people here calling for Jay Johnson to be fired this season.

Kelly overachieved in year one and does not get the respect he deserved for it. He underachieved last year and it was still a 10 win season in the SEC with a heisman winner. For that to be an underachievement is saying something.

The standard here is a national championship and he has yet to prove he can do that, but to not think he has us on the right path in this era of CFB is ignorance

Like the Heisman trophy winner and likely NFL ROY?

Who would you trade Kelly for?

Someone young who has champion potential which Kelly has proven he doesn't...also someone without a 10-year fully guaranteed contract!

Thanks for giving me a name. There just aren't as many "elite" coaches as most think when the expectations are National Championships.

I think there is a talent deficiency on the D and especially in the secondary. But not on O. Breaking in a new QB usually entails some growing pains but there are NO EXCUSES for the anemic running game.

In two seasons he has won 20 games. That is one million dollars per win.

Woody is a shrewd Politician man. He could never stay in business if he were the owner.

Did LSU have top tier talent on defense last year?

What is your evaluation of our Safeties this year and last year?

How many DBs got drafted last year? How many next year?

Like I said, "Kelly has won ten games a season with some good talent but a ton of crap talent, and some of that crap talent starts out of necessity."
