I would much rather this than last year, when they played 4 straight top-8 NCAA seeds the last 4 weeks. I think they were mentally spent by the time regionals hit and losing a 3 run lead to SLU in the 1st game of the regional broke them.

They play Georgia Wednesday night and if they win, they'll play Oklahoma Thursday night.

There are no easy series in the SEC, every team has capable players. Some ppl can’t just give her credit, I bet when they were 0-5 you would have said zero chance they would be 13-11!!

Serious question, What exactly are you suggesting to give credit for? Beating 4 of the bottom 5 SEC teams? Finishing in the middle of the pack, once again? I’ll give credit when she earns it but she ain’t done it yet.
As I said earlier, I hope I’m dead wrong about this team and they go on a tear but until it’s done and she earns that credit…..it won’t be given.

And I will repeat, did you give her grace last year when we had to play 4 Top-8 national seeds the final 4 weeks last year? My guess is probably not.

If they win a regional you will say they beat the 24 seed who cares…Tennessee couldn’t beat Ole Miss, Miss St beat Florida a game..you just don’t get how hard the SEC is in softball. In all sports, softball in the SEC is the sport that has the biggest gap from any other conference..it’s not close. They are also the only team in the country that had a lead in the 7th inning twice vs the best team in the country. I get it you hate Torina and probably want Rick Fremin who can’t beat Lamar lol

I don’t know how hard the SEC is? Maybe I don’t but my daughter who has 2 WCWS rings does. Go sit in the corner and let the grownups discuss. You think beating the bottom 4 and losing to the rest earns respect? Your expectations aren’t very high are they? When she wins a regional, she’ll get a little respect, win a super she’ll get more but I’ll put a paycheck on it that she don’t make the WCWS this year. You up for that? And I don’t hate Beth, I have had many conversations with her but she’s just not excellent at her job. She’s good but that ain’t my expectation, maybe it’s yours along with everybody deserves a trophy. And I have no clue how Fremin would do here but I would put another paycheck on that it wouldn’t be any worse….and would be cheaper.

Great for your daughter! So you don’t think SEC softball is hard? How did Ole Miss beat Tennessee 2/3 ? I guess Tennessee sucks as does every head coach in the SEC save Gasso, Walton , Murphy and White since they are the only ones in the conference who has won a natty. As far as cheaper, you might want to check out recent salaries in the SEC , Torina is mid pack at best and closer to the bottom third. Oklahoma budget was 7 mil , you up for that? Win the WS this yr? No chance but I’m not a win a natty or get fired person, do they need to get to super? Absolutely but they are a few players away from WS quality but those are coming in the next 2 classes. What Beth accomplished from where they started deserves credit, the team improved and that’s a sign of good coaching!

Your comprehension is horrible. Let’s explain a little slower. Well keep all the results the same and now we’ll just reverse the schedule, or balance the top and bottom opponents a little better during the season. Did they improve, regress or stay the same as they have the last few years? What they did is not an improvement from the beginning of the season, it was an average of what kind of team and coaching ability they have. If they don’t beat the bottom part of the league this year then they are towards the bottom. This is not an improvement no matter how you want to look at it.
And I’m talking Fremin would be cheaper, not comparing to other SEC coaches.
