He's not a good fit here. Besides, Torina will be here at least until the end of NEXT year, regardless of what happens this year in the post season.

I’ll play though it’s a topic change because I’ve yet to see a post defending Beth’s tenure and why she deserves another decade at LSU.
As for who I’d hire, Pat Murphy accepted for a few days before Beth was hired. Kick the tires again, can’t hurt if we’re in Kiffin or Will Wade mode.
If Pat declines, money whip Lonnie Alameda at FSU. She’s recovered well from cancer scare. They’re broke on that inferior league and should be poachable.

Agree great choices but they will cost near 1 mil, most LSU fans will have a heart attack if you pay a softball coach 1 mil

Not for proven national champions which they both are. Nobody said a peep when Mulkey and her salary was hired.

If we had to hire, we’ve got some things to think about….take a run at one of the proven head coaches and probably overpay, hand over to Bryce, yet unproven or take a shot on a different up and comer. Marissa Young would be my top choice.

Marissa Young is an elite coach, probably would keep Neal as she would be familiar with him from his Louisville days. Having said all that, I don’t think anything will happen with Beth until 2028 one way or another.
