Good sized kid that is solid defensively. Hit .290 with 9 HRs so a little pop added. Interesting to see does she slide over in Coffey's vacated spot or does she threaten a MIF position.....

Marking my calendar!!! Me and CasualObserver agree on something!!!!

Now what happens after that move is anyone's guess!! Hodge stays on the field in my view but is that at 3B or at 2B. Does Daniel stay on field at 2B? Does McKee come back to 2B? But I think they'll add at least 3 more position players--and add more questions.

I hate to be the person to pick apart how someone looks in a picture, but her face is so shiny it's distracting.

Need more consistent bats for better situational hitting, left toooo many runners on base and on pitching side, gotta get the free bases down with walks/hit batters that was Heavener’s biggest problem, free passes that resulted in runs scored.

Will LSU be able to beat ULL and SLU in a regional with her addition?

She had 9 HR’s compared to our starting 3B, SS and 2B totaling 5

As long as Beth is the coach I’m not sure it matters.

Why would you ask if Daniel’s stays on the field? She ended up 3rd in BA and I’m guessing will move to lead off next year. Her or Hodge. I’m not sure what Daniel’s BA was in SEC play but seems like she really came around later in the season. I know everyone wants the big hitters but someone needs to be on base or we just end up with a bunch of solo HR’s.

Oh, I am sooooo with you!!! No brainer to leave her in but several folks whined about her lack of power and only being a slapper and the program moving away from slappers, which is very true as the hitting coach openly doesn't like slappers. Makes no sense to me, as Daniel has proven herself in my view but that is absolutely the trend of the program.

The question is whether she would be in the field or be the DP.

Oh, I got ya. Would also be a mistake to not be in the field IMHO, also the stats humble opinion. .970 fielding, only 4 errors that ain’t nothing to sneeze at. I do think that’s one of the things Beth did right this year, go to Daniels full time at 2nd instead of McKee. Probably some other coaches suggestion.

I thought LSU had better photoshoppers than to let those pics go out like that.
