They lost to Southeastern. Have lost 4 games at home and 8 already this year.

I hate to break it to you, but nobody will remember the 24-0 start if we stink it up in conference play and limp to the finish yet again.

yeah no shite shirlock. but given how good of a start this team has had, there is a higher probability this team will not stink up conference. This be the problem I have with posters on here.

At the end of the season we will be lucky to be above 500 In Conference play. Played a weak out of conference schedule. ULL will beat them again this year in the tournament.

How’s Ole Miss not ranked
They're only 19-8. They aren't that good.

Ole Miss 6-10 with 2 outs. Ouch.

LSU scorching it right to them with 2 outs.

I’m thinking Ole Miss would have beat ANY team this series.

Can we at least avoid being run ruled?

I think its silly to give up the teams potential after one bad series all year but I do have legit questions about LSU's pitching staff overall. Feels and looks like Berzon is getting hit much harder this year, granted she is now a sophomore so teams are making adjustments on her. We should be fine most of the time but pitching depth will be critical come post season

Hitting with RISP was not good this weekend and been our nemesis the last few years so hopefully they clean that up in SEC play as they move forward

Loss of Danieca was big. I think Daniel will be good eventually but that is just an overwhelming amount of production and experience lost.

I mentioned in another thread that I hoped it was not fools gold, I'm still not sure if it is. I'm not a big Beth fan but our girls are hitting the ball on the button, just right at people. Last night those three errors on the freshman shook us and Chaffin started the pitching woes tonight. I saw a movie once called Any Given Sunday, hopefully this weekend is our Sunday.

Are these announcers (Michelle Smith) at the game? The sound and their reactions sound like they are announcing remotely.

No dominant pitcher on the roster. Been this way for a few years. Don’t see any improvement from year to year

Looks like they are at the game. Smith just doesn't sound the same.

That’s what’s so confusing. Beth was a pitcher and supposedly known as a developer of pitchers.

They haven’t done much in the portal. Don’t expect her to change

Lately Beth has not developed the pitchers as she used to do before. I would say Sunseri and Kilponen did worse on their last years on the team than earlier. She was unable to develop a couple of pitchers that were ion the team last year.

The series turned when I went to Kleithermes' Instagram to see her boobs during the mid innings yesterday.

Starting to understand why Alea Johnson transferred out after last year.

Did I hear that right: Ole Miss was the only SEC team not ranked? Then they come to #2 team in the country on their own home turf and beat the snot out of them. That’s coaching.

Agree with most about the pitching. None of them are big time, but what teams have big time pitchers. Softball has become a HITTING GAME.

As an aside, how many teams start a season 24-0 and then finish .500 or worse in their conference schedule? Or, start a season 24-0 and don't get out of a regional. That would be a shame if that were to happen to these seniors. Wish them the best, but its not looking good right now.
