This team is stuck in mediocrity when it could have been much better.
They cannot bat especially with runners in scoring position..
Beth Torina and her staff should be replaced for the next season if we want to see any kind of improvement and a truly contending team.....

Can BT put someone else to coach at third base. She is one of the worst I have seen and she has not gotten better with the years in that position.
When a player like Newland is thrown out by a mile you know that was an awful coaching decision.....

As soon as Berzon gave the base on balls to the first hitter I knew inning was headed for disaster, and Torina’s coaching decisions didn’t help.....

Lately Beth has not developed the pitchers as she used to do before. I would say Sunseri and Kilponen did worse on their last years on the team than earlier. She was unable to develop a couple of pitchers that were ion the team last year....

It is the same every year now, an average low energy team that cannot compete at the top..

Definitely hard to watch..poor execution ,boring. This team is stale.

Dobson and Leftwich have to go.
Time to bring new ideas and true expertise to those positions including the recruiting of the non pitcher positions.
I still remember how the US Olympic team suddenly couldn’t bat costing them the Gold Medal under Dobson’s coaching. I also remember Amanda Sanchez, ...

It certainly looks like Chaffin and Casanova are pitching much better and look ready for this part of the season.
Unfortunately the batting continues to be very subpar against the better teams ;cannot hit the better pitchers and clutch hitting is rare.

Coaching is bad . Fielding and fielding decisions are subpar. Catcher position has unfortunately affected us ..
It is sad to see how Kilponen has been pitching lately. They gave this game away !
Time for SW to take a look at this program…

We need to thank Berzon for letting us win this series with her great pitching of two low scoring complete games.
Offense was slightly better but still anemic with many stranded runners . They need to get better to face the second half of SEC play…...

This is so disappointing ….
The coaching and the team performance were incredibly subpar like they have given up.
Today, the batting, fielding and pitching let us down .
I think SW needs to start going over his list of potential Head coaching candidates that could help LSU softball .....

Definitely, I cannot see this coaching group improving this team. There is no interest in change or real improvement or just lack of abilities to compete at the higher levels. The ship has sailed…
I hope that SW is paying attention to the Softball product…...

No changes were made in coaching and we are seeing more of the same as the last years.
Woodward will eventually need to decide if this is all we are willing to achieve with LSU softball. If there are no changes at the helm is hard to believe we will be a top competitive team in the SEC again…...
