Evan Stewart, Manning’s high school coach, told ESPN this week that Kelly has made a strong impression on the rising star. That impression could be LSU’s winning ticket to landing the elite prospect.
“No coach has come through and made as strong of an impression as Brian Kelly,” Stewart said as he compared him to past LSU coaches, via an ESPN+ story. “He has a humility and authenticity when you meet him. You feel like you’ve known him forever.”
“An LSU offer is the prestigious offer,” Stewart added. “When kids get that offer, it’s very, very special. LSU has the tradition, facilities and recruiting the camaraderie. It’s a very special place.

This is probably someway of getting someone else to get motivated to pay more plus makes this high school coach look good with the new coaching staff.

He’s comparing BK to other LSU coaches not all other coaches.

The kid is a good 4* talent but him being the #1 overall is obviously last name hype driven.

I don’t think it’s about a nil deal. The mannings are rich. It’s about the local coach keeping good relations imo. Which benefits us also.

I’m not saying he’s coming, but there is a possibility.
LSU fans forget that Arch is a third generation New Orleanian.
He grew up as an LSU fan.
His mother and her family are New Orleanians for many generations and LSU fans.
Saying never or no way is just wrong.
