I'd rather watch them lose by 30 in a playoff game vs. watching them win by 30 in a meaningless bowl game in Florida or Texas where 1/3 of each team "opts out" because they care about the game less than the fans

Bingo. The defeatist attitude some of our “fans” have just pollute the board.

Better to lose by 30 in a playoff game than another Reliquest or Cheezit Bowl.

From one of the many members of the BKHC (Brian Kelly Haters Club). There are about 15-20 of them here that want LSU to lose

it's going to be uga/texas in the sec champ

You haven't been paying attention then.

UGA needs A LOT of help to get into the SECCG. Both Ole Miss and Alabama have H2H tiebreakers over them and at least 1 of them will finish 6-2. LSU has the tiebreaker advantage over UGA with the Ole Miss win.

I think UGA also needs A&M to beat Texas to force a 4+ way tie for 2nd. Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Alabama all have a decent chance to go 6-2.

We could see a 6-team tie for 2nd if LSU, Alabama, UGA, and Ole Miss win out. LSU, Alabama, Texas/A&M loser, UGA, Tennessee, Ole Miss.

Heck, if Mizzou wins out too it could be a 7-team tie for 2nd. Just a wild year in the SEC.

I'm sure some people prefer a team not even try because they are too fragile to deal with a loss. You folks should really just quit watching sports for your own mental well-being.

College football has been pretty wide open this year.... Of course i wouldnt mind making the playoffs.

When we lose to Florida this weekend, that will put all of this to bed.

Making the playoff would mean winning 3 straight games PLUS winning the SEC Championship and likely getting a bye with tons of momentum. Why the frick wouldn't we want that????

Agreed. This could really ruin our pick in the NCAA Draft

Look.

We are disappointed in the losses.

You have a right to ask questions about the preparedness of this team.

But the ‘yoffs are still a possibility.

The math is there. Will the team be ready? We will see.

the SEC needs to go back to 2 divisions. All this tiebreaker stuff is absurd.

Because we are fricking fans, we want to watch more Tiger football, win or lose.

Obviously you aren't a tiger fan, just a miserable troll on an LSau site

“Why are people brainstorming BCS scenarios. LSU just lost to Arkansas in 3OT”

I’d hate to have to rely on some of you chuds for anything.

For me personally - I'm a fan that has no outcome on the game, but sure as hell enjoy my 5 months of LSU football. I "brainstorm" the scenarios, what we're going to eat, the type of bourbon in hand and who we're cheering with each week.

LSU has been up and down all season.

They have looked great at times on both sides of the ball and also looked awful.

Honestly, only special teams has been consistently awful.

Nuss has had a bad 6 straight quarters, but overall has been solid.

Against Ole Miss, our game plan on offense and play calling was atrocious, and yet LSU somehow managed to right things.

Both the players and coaches are in their own heads right now and that has to change. It could and while I don’t have much faith in Brian Kelly to do it, it’s possible.

Also, Kelly doesn’t need to be fired for LSU to succeed, but I do believe if he wants any chance to be a real contender at all and potentially win a championship, he is going to have to demote Sloan and hire a real OC.

Be honest. What do you see in this LSU team that makes you think they have a shot at even making playoffs? Much less actually winning a playoff game?

The way LSU looks right now they will be dang lucky to finish the last 3 games with only 1 more loss. Some of you guys are extremely delusional because this is just a flat out bad team and the thought of playoffs is actually hilarious to even consider with this team.
