Won't be one. You won't get a big name, so the only person who will make a move is a backup.

Forgot who I was watching but he said '90% plus of the players in the portal have no business being in there in the first place.'

Daniels and Burrow came in to start (or at the very least realistic compete to start). Nobody worth a shite is coming here to not play.

Not really. With another year Hurley will be a capable backup and Swann will still be there as 3rd string

Wait for post spring for portal qb. Go for a young 5 star to bring in and learn thr system. Examples would be maybe either Julian Sayin or Air Noland depending how that Ohio State spring battle shakes out.
We are not getting anyone with experience that could be our starter in 26. They will not want to sit a year.

We will go with Nuss and Swann, still have Hurley.

Wishful thinking because our current QB1 is absolute trash
But now that the season is over and we ended on a high note, everyone is pumped he’s coming back.
Same way they turned a blind eye to how bad he was this year because we somehow squeaked by OM and USCe with a win.
If we don’t have extremely good luck this year we’d be 6-6. That USCe game should’ve been a blow out but everything went our way.

Fernando Mendoza would start here and everyone would be ecstatic after a few games.
Casuals don’t know him because he played at Cal.
But he’s as good of a QB as there is. Tough as nails. Amazing pocket awareness. Can run if he needs to. LSU Burrow-esque.
He’d beat out Nuss if we were able to pull him.
