He talked in past tense then quickly corrected himself the last time he spoke about it. Either way Slinger was a qb at LSU when they used a 2qb system so I could see it happening. But I thought Myles was bought into a developmental year n 2018. Play n 4 games and RS to get bigger. But obviously he’s come on strong and is pushing Burrow. Who knows how it shakes out but in the spring game even though he had reserves at Oline that couldn’t protect he had trouble staying calm and making good decisions. Some said most the drops were when Brenna was in the last scrimmage so maybe he looked better than the stats which made the coaches consider playing both vs Miami

Burrow is another Etling. Seriously people need to get over it. Etling was good. Got an NFL deal, but brennans upside is amazing. If brennan beats burrow out, that means hes starting to reach his potential.
Burrow is here to take the reigns if he has to and to help brennan learn. If Brennan gets it together, then you'll have a real all American qb for once.

If the starter (Brennan) was here all along then what was the point of rolling out the red carpet for Burrow? The only logical answer would be that Burrow isn't as good as originally thought.
