For me it's more than talent. The errors, walks, passed balls, wild pitches - man even teams of modest talent - what we saw in the degree of all of the above should not be excused nor rationalized.

Man, I just really don't think that's the biggest issue here. You think WW is waiting around for Verge and Rouse to give him money or raise money for him? The small slice he got from the $21 million pie ain't paying for the roster he's building.

That portion of the $21 Mil Nil allotment is only a drop in the bucket and always will be - if you are waiting on that and worried about that - that's a problem in and of itself.

Now he's doing his job trying to get more of that piece of the pie for baseball but even if he gets what he wants in that regard that's not going to fund what he wants. He's got to bring that same passion to helping himself get the rest of what he needs and not venting about what he's not getting at the coaches committee meetings. There are baseball only boosters out there for LSU, and more than at most schools.
