So what was going on back in 1999 ....

when MSU last beat LSU.
- Bill Clinton was president. So was Nelson Mandela and Boris Yeltsin.
- We were all getting ready for the Y2k bug
- George Clooney left ER
- Jerry Falwell thought the teletubbies were gay
- Our minds were blown at the end of the Sixth Sense
- War erupted in Kosovo
- John Elway led the Broncos to a Super Bowl win
- Gas averaged $1.17 a gallon
- The east upper deck in Tiger Stadium was being built

There was no instant replay in college football... Otherwise we wouldn't be concerned about what was going on in 1999, but rather what was going on in 1991.
