So what happens when Dellinger comes back from injury?

Who goes to the bench, Frazier or Bradford? Both have been playing very well of late and line has become a more cohesive unit now that we have a settled five. From what I've seen so far Dellinger is the most well rounded of the 3 but Frazier and Bradford are no slouches.

Frazier has started every game

Maybe let Delli try and win the job back from Frazier. You can’t just dump Bradford because he’s unique for us and has vastly improved. It’s between Frazier and Delli for one spot so let them compete for it.

Nice to have all three
Plus Delli gives you another option at C in case any of the interior guys go down

Glad you brought that up, I wouldn’t mind giving Dellinger a shot at center if he has the calls down already. It’s the weak link on the Oline and it would be great if we could find a way to have Delli and Frazier on the field together like the OP stated.

We tried that and the line didn’t really start playing well until Turner became the starting center.
Turner isnt getting replaced as long as he’s healthy

If it were me, I wouldn't change anything. I think Frazier at LG has been our best lineup.

You’re right about toying with cohesion at center, I wouldn’t wanna mess with it right now that’s why I said let Delli and Frazier compete for the LG spot. But for sake of the discussion, keeping Dellinger and Frazier on the field together, center has been a weaker spot than RG.

Many a grape will be busted

Nothing, if it is not broken, do not fix it. Frazier is doing just fine.

Set up a rotation of center and guards at appropriate intervals so we have fresh hoses in the interior three?

On Saturday CBS put up a stat that we are undefeated this year when Will Campbell and Emory Jones have both started. Pretty wild.

In all honesty, Campbell's presence for the Tennessee game would not have changed the results.

I know he got rolled up on and hurt his knee but is his hand still in a cast? If so I let him heal up if at all possible.

You don’t rotate center like that. You need cohesiveness with snaps, and calling at the line. I’m confident that this will be between Dellinger and Frazier. Frazier and Bradford have both improved, but Bradford I will stay at right guard because he is our best run blocker. Clearly, coaches have felt that Dellinger was the best option at left guard before the injury and I don’t doubt that, but it is good to see Frazier’s improvement. My guess is that they will go back to Dellinger, but it is a good question to consider.

At the end of the day its a good problem to have. Going forward I believe that the plan for next year is to use the spring to groom Dellinger to play center, leaving the other 4 to return in their same positions. Turner has been surprisingly good at C, consistent snapping and hasn't been overwhelmed by anybody we have played. I'd rate him in the top 3rd in the league at C.

Turner has another year of eligibility. You think they are going to just ditch the guy that started almost the whole season?

This is a good problem to have.

Turner has been good and a huge upgrade from Shanahan...but obviously during camp the staff thought Dellinger had a bigger upside. Kelly wants a more physical guy there and Dellinger is the better athlete, he just struggled with the snaps with limited practice. I think they will experiment again during the offseason and see who wins out.

I think who returns is still unknown and it's too early to worry about this. Bradford could go pro. Players could hit the portal. You never know in today's world.
