They will get their backup back. He is much better. They have a championship level defense. I can't believe people actually think it's okay to leave out an undefeated p5 champion. I can't. That win is even more impressive.

Yea right. Because a QB2 has never really worked out in a championship game.

Against UF QB2 was 12 of 25 for 134 yards. He was better but not MUCH better. That performance won't beat no other team in the playoffs.
I'm ok with a Power 5 school being left out if they lose their BEST player and its a choice between them and the SEC champ. The SEC has won 14 of the last 20 championships. Clearly the SEC is the best conference and we know not all conferences are created equal. Not a single one of those undefeated teams goes undefeated playing a complete SEC schedule and y'all know this. However, y'all gonna feed into the narrative the media pushing. With the SEC being so dominant in championship games, I'm sure not a single team from another conference wants to see ANY SEC school make the playoffs. Hell, they want to win and that's highly unlikely having to play Bama or UGA. I guarantee you Texas doesn't want to see THIS version of Bama.

Texas lost to a shifty OU team then beat a 3 loss OSU team for the Conference championship.. Texas got Bama early when they were struggling.

FSU's QB1 isn't even as good as either of them. FSU has looked putrid on offense without Travis. You kidding yourself if you think otherwise. It's not about deserving, it's the best 4 teams.

I think the committee takes this opportunity to keep the SEC out. The easiest argument is undefeated conference champs plus Texas. Once the 12 team playoff starts, the new SEC will win 95% of the championships for the foreseeable future.
