we thought Evans was the guy but he has struggled the last 2 games.

Do we go back to Shores? Noot? Or leave Evans in as the 3rd starter.

Johnny Wholestaff. Shores and Evans are obviously better in relief which they should stay in.

I saw give noot a run at it next Sunday. We only need 5 innings of 4 runs or less to be competitive.

Better than being ranked #2 or whatever Arkansas was and have no #2 or 3 starter.

I'd imagine that, like most years, our pitchers will look much better once we get away from the shitty SEC umpires.

Also Evan’s wasn’t bad, the ump was not giving us the outside corner on righties when he was giving it to Arky all damn day.

Why? You think Casan cemented himself as the third starter?

GTFO dude. Tennessee and Arkansas are 2 of the best if not the best lineups in the country. He shoved vs Tenn and only gave up 4 today. A True Frosh making his what, 3rd start? Frick off and go to sleep.

If I was to try anyone else at day 3 it would be Cowan but I think they feel like he's too valuable out of the pen. If Shores keeps pitching like he does in relief that just gives another big relief option.

87 pitches in 3.2 innings will not cut it. Needs to throw better cant blame it all on the umps

LSU isn’t perfect.

Arkansas is one of the few teams that is supposed to be able to beat us and they look even more imperfect.

What exactly do you expect to get out of your 3rd starter? You think a 3rd starter should be able to shut down the top offense in the SEC? We aren't the New York Yankees.

Evans is a freshman with upside that did as good a job as anyone we could have expected against the #1 lineup in the conference

last start Evans had 1 ER on 3.1

it wasn’t an efficient lengthy start but I think you take that.

this was a rough outing.

We have a good third starter; it’s Evans. He just had a so-so day today. We don’t have a third guy of Anderson or Eyanson ability, but no LSU team ever has.
