So signing up for Marine Corps makes you a Marine

Pretty sure that a recruit is just a recruit until he/she completes
12-13 week coarse and graduates before they become a marine. Who knew the USMC has been doing it wrong all of these yrs. I just used the Marines as an example because my dad is a marine and said "Well hell I wasn't aware that i was a marine the day I signed up"

Why are you trying to ruin the sanctity of the civilian space?

Technically you should be saying signing up and going to boot camp

Wow...so after all these years after they cut me for an injury, I'm a Marine?

That makes too much sense for all the crybabies that are crying.

That how it was when I was in. You were just a recruit until graduation. My senior shook all of our hands and told us “congratulations Marine.” And with that, history was made.

The fighters on the Uktimate Fighter are not UFC Fighters either

Remember guys, if you take a girl to dinner and a movie, then make out a little before she tells you to go home, it totally means you banged her.
Right SEC?
Right SEC?

If you voluntarily sign up for the Marine Corps and then refuse to listen to your superiors then you get a dishonorable discharge as well
If we’re trying to make comparisons
If we’re trying to make comparisons

This makes total sense just like my post about right-to-work infringement

I went to wrestling camps at OSU and PSU along with the manning passing academy when in high school. I was a college athlete. I also attended the LSU coaching clinic for a week so that makes me a College football coach.

You make us all proud, Blue!

My dad was in the Marines as well, but this is a silly comparison. And petty.

I thought you were a maggot until you graduated boot camp?

Not if it’s an unlawful order. In that case you actually have a duty to report them. Keep trying to be clever. This has your AD written all over it.
I’m sure the SEC universities are going to love the counter suit when all the discovery comes out. How many skeletons are yall hiding up there in y’all’s closets in Oxford?
The SEC (yes that’s Ole Miss too) will pay our NIL budget for the next decade. Back to the cellar yall go.

No its not, in most professional fields you are not that position until you get your license, hell i guess temp employee has many professions since they have been paid to do all of these positions

LMFAO that is what you believe? You are an actual moron.

I’ve been saying something similar. I was in the Army so I compared it to a Soldier signing a contract to go SFAS. You sign a contract and get a bonus but all of that is contingent on you getting selected and passing the Q Course. If you don’t get selected or if you fail the Q Course you get kicked back to the regular Army and you can’t call yourself a Green Beret. Just because you sign a contingency based contract doesn’t make you apart of that organization. You being a part of that organization is contingent on you making it through training or being selected or both.
