So we don’t have any shot at this kid at LSU?

Because that was totally the trade off. If you were being honest, you'd know that it's not the case.

I'll play the game anyway.

Tyson Leblanc career numbers at LSUE (2 seasons) - 2025 signing class.

.367/.484/.683 15 HR 132 RBI 77 BB/66 K

Tanner Reaves career numbers at Blinn (2 seasons) - 2024 signing class.

.398/.490/.680 28 HR 142 RBI 88 BB/93 K

Was Tyson Leblanc going to start over Steven Milam at shorstop this year?

Do you see how dumb you look when you have no idea what you're talking about?

Didn't you hear, the sole excuse is that he didn't get enough NIL money.

Not evaluation, not coaching...

Too many people think Louisiana kid = willing to make whatever sacrifice needed to play for LSU.

It's not 1996 anymore.

agree, and I don't think LSU is going to do that if it happens again. I like JJ, but he has something to prove, even though he has won Nattys. Maineri did also.

If anyone else knew he was that good he wouldn't be at Kansas either. Shît happens. Is there a big 12 pitcher in the top 100 prospects of the upcoming draft? Brayden Simpson had 25 hrs last year too. I get what your saying but I don't think he has 24 hrs in the sec. Not that 15 or so wouldn't have come in clutch this year compared to what we got. He obviously figured something out this year.

How bout all you coaching and talent evaluation geniuses pick 5 players from this portal and let’s see where they end up in a year. And not just the top ones out the portal, pick 5 no names.

But we didn’t have a 2nd baseman, competition makes people better, quit just giving people spots

Alot of these transfer kids were committed before we were done playing! Therefore we had to get kids who were considered best of the rest

We brought in a Louisiana kid that was a standout at Kansas last year. He didn't work out.

called player evaluation, and quite frankly, JJ and staff failed miserably this past year.

So let me get this straight...you want JJ to bench our shortstop this last year? You moron

So all the scouting / recruiting services "failed miserably" as well, as they all ranked CJJ's class one of the top classes in the country. This is on the players. CJJ didn't all of a sudden lose his coaching & recruiting capabilities.

Yeah, we already covered that part of the conversation. Choosing to stay ignorant but still jumping in the conversation is an a-hole move.
