No it isn’t. Cameron’s offense was based off the Air Coryell system which is the passing game is focused around deep passes
From all accounts Ensminger’s is focused on shorter quick passes
Cameron didn’t run RPOs
Ensminger won’t run the toss dive and will have more 3-4 WR sets, more passes to TE and RB
Even at previous OC jobs Ensminger didn’t run what Cameron ran

Yes he was.
And people didn’t want to hear it.
A few still don’t want to hear it.

I don't want to hear it because it makes me feel bad for Brennan especially.
I think the coaches are failing him, mainly Orgeron for firing Canada, essentially pulling the rug from under him as far as his development.

I think the coaches are failing Narcisse too. Both have potential but neither will get the coaching they need to develop.

The biggest problem with the QB situation right now.

Think are too wrapped up in the preseason individual hype. Maybe, jusypt maybe, the perceives numbers one & two have been reading their own press while the perceived number three is growing into the position.

Said Narcisse had to be constantly reminded by E on his dropbacks to go left foot over right and that when he finally got that right he would one-hop the pass to the receiver. But E was on him really hard about doing things the right way.
Cough *bullshite* cough

If McMillan is our best option, then O is failing as HC even more than he already has.
Why?

This offense is geared to be short to medium with multiple receivers. TE, RB and 3 WR option available every play. Don't need a QB with a cannon but will need to be accurate and mobile.
QB that wins the battle will be the one that can RUN the offense--get everyone lined up and KNOW all the options for every play. Hopefully that same QB is an accurate passer.
We will pass to more targets that is for sure---will they be caught? Remember WR's have a big learning curve also as most are new to this system. Hopefully, we are able to get each player up to snuff by Miami game. Defense probably carries us the first few.

Imagine that. Coaches that have never succeeded in running a program are not succeeding at running a program.
I'll bet money that we have the same QB questions and ambiguity on Labor Day weekend.

We probably will have the same problems but I'm pulling for JM. If he's the best of the three then so be it and it will be a great story. As an LSU fan I expect sub par QB play anyway but I'm really hoping JM proves everyone wrong.

I'm kind of with you. I was an MB "fan", but I want whomever is the best option. Having JM "come out of nowhere" would be a great story.

I watched every passing call play the QBs were involved in, and I thought JM looked the worse. MB looked the best throwing the ball, but if that’s the best he can do we will need LN’s wheels.

Tbob knows way more than you think.

Just him receiving a scholarship was probably a dream considering he wasn't a high profile recruit. Now he may be the starting qb for LSU, that's a true underdog story.

So the coaches have failed the 4* QBs and somehow the 2* QB has passed them up. I guess he did it all on his own, since ostensibly the coaches would’ve failed him too.

LSU will enter the Miami game waiting for a qb to take the job.

Your argument rests on the premise that McMillan has passed the other QBs due to his development and progression into a good sec qb.
I find that to be a false premise.
