the SEC is going to do whatever they can to impact this season for us..
Yeah I think that's the long-term plan. Keep us out of the playoffs.

In that case, LSU would might as well forfeit causing heavy TV damages to SEC

Lawsuit? Over what?
Just in the context of contracts, they would have multiple claims and very clear damages.

I would assume expelling wouldn’t take affect until next year, or even further. I’m sure it’s in the rules to have a transition period.

Who is they? LSU?
What contract? LSU's contract is with the SEC.

This is an excellent point and I'm certain that ESPN is making a call to his office today to remind him of this.

However, this can be setting up ruling us ineligible for the SEC title game/conference championship, which would set the stage for the CFP to leave us out. THAT scenario could certainly happen.
Being punished for not playing the “ineligible” players?

Lawsuit? Over what?
Is this an example of the arbitrary and capricious application of rules?
Alabama played former NBA G League center Charles Bediako in basketball games last year. Texas had offensive lineman Cole Hutson practicing with the team for weeks after declaring for the NFL Draft without properly withdrawing. Oklahoma added multiple fifth-year transfers, including Braxton Fely, Danny Saili, D'Yoni Hill, and Jaydon Southard, following separate court orders and TRO rulings. Missouri star forward Mark Mitchell re-enrolled at Missouri for the 2026-27 season. And those are just a few examples.
If similar eligibility questions existed elsewhere across the conference, why can the SEC single out LSU for punishment while seemingly overlooking other schools? More importantly, what recourse does LSU have if it believes the rules are being applied inconsistently?
What, if anything, happened to Alabama regarding Charles Bediako?
Can the SEC selectively enforce its rules without consequence, or are there mechanisms to challenge inconsistent enforcement?
I'm genuinely asking for your opinion. If you think there's an explanation that reconciles these situations, I'd appreciate hearing it.

We would clearly have to roster them

That's correct. But, if the SEC arbitrarily removes LSU with the current set of facts, I believe it would be a pretty clear breach of contract by the SEC. The consequences of that breach (including a potential missed playoff spot) would be included in the damages sought by LSU as part of their breach of contract suit.

What, if anything, happened to Alabama regarding Charles Bediako?
And that's not even getting into the fact that those 2 schools broke the rule, LSU has yet to do so, but that's not my main point. Even if LSU did, why would the SEC not have to follow the precedent they set with the TWO previous examples?

Please let this happen so LSU can sue the ever-living shite out of everybody!

There seems to be a thing where "the SEC" as in the admin/Sankey is being conflated with "the SEC" as in the members.
The expulsion rules are clear, part of the contract among the members, and would require action by the members, not the admin/Sankey.
You're arguing that the members following the contract of the members would be violated by following the rules of that contract.

I don't think they'd even have standing to sue the CFP

Gotcha I was confused by what you meant. I think it’s clear at this point these guys aren’t playing.
