There seems to be a thing where "the SEC" as in the admin/Sankey is being conflated with "the SEC" as in the members.
The expulsion rules are clear, part of the contract among the members, and would require action by the members, not the admin/Sankey.
I'm not conflating SEC member institutions with the SEC, I'm referring to LSU's claims for breach of contract against the SEC as an organization (with its leadership named individually).

You're arguing that the members following the contract of the members would be violated by following the rules of that contract.
I wouldn't entirely dismiss the notion that LSU might have claims against member schools in the event that they refused to play against LSU based on an SEC decision, but that isn't what I'm talking about here.

Who is the CFP directly contracted with?
So if a court order can apply to the SEC, is there any specific or legal reason to assume a court order would not apply to an enitty owned by the SEC and other conferences?

However, this can be setting up ruling us ineligible for the SEC title game/conference championship, which would set the stage for the CFP to leave us out. THAT scenario could certainly happen.
Ineligible due to what? Not breaking any rules?

I can't even imagine watching an LSU game across any sport and having competent, non-corrupt officials.
