Hard to be confident knowing the offense WILL NOT improve...not to mention it is a day game on the dreaded CBS. That channel curses us.

I have already accepted the loss. Bama is simply the better team. LSU is not suppose to win anyway. I will be more emotionally involved when LSU plays a team of their caliber such as Ole Miss. I believe LSU can and should win the Ole Miss and ULM games. If they finish 9-3, that would be better than I predicted for the seaason.

All I'm saying is that LSU matches up MUCH

Been telling people that from before the season. But I didn't factor in JJ new routine of turning the ball over within the 1st two drives.

I have written Les Miles off as a loss, but Les has won in unconventional ways. However, when Les is the underdog, I do not believe his teams fare well.

I wouldn't bet on LSU, but I would not be surprised at all if we won.

funny, this is the game I AM betting on LSU. hell, we get 6.5 points? it's a good bet, at home against a team we always play close and a team that has really not been that impressive on either side of the ball. we may not win the game, but i think it's a great bet that we cover.

but I couldn't make a good statistical case for it, especially not with our shitacular offense

This might make it difficult for some fans to be confident, ironically.

I'm just happy that we can get back to tackling an actual running back this week.

I don't think we matchup that well with Bama, undersized on the Dline. I think we'd have a better chance if we went with 1 qb, maybe they could have a good day, I just think it really decreases our chances of winning because its unlikely that both have a good day.

This will be a tough game for us to win. Not impossible, but with our offense as it is, it's going to be very difficult. I figure we'll have to put up 21 points or more to win, and it's hard to see our offense managing 3 TDs against their defense. Special teams? Turnovers? A coupla 50-yard FGs? Whatever, we'll need more than what our offense provides to have a chance in this game.

Auburn's pass defense was horrible and we could do absolutely nothing with it. Other teams ran up the score on Auburn and we trick played our way to 17 points. I just don't see how we score points against a better defense than Auburn. Alabama has a suspect pass defense but that did us no good at Auburn. We have a shot but we have to get a lead early or Bama will wear our defense down. We can't keep having 3 and outs all game long.
