i just hope that les can keep the team motivated after losing to Saban again. the post-bama blues for the past two years have been absolutely pathetic.

it'll be a dogfight, but i really just can't see how this offense can sustain drives if the philosophy is the same as the auburn game.

maybe they wise up and completely shift the gameplan from one tangent to another, but you really can't expect that from this offensive staff.

and there's really no need in playing the game?

our offense just. plain. sucks.

we aren't good, and we're not going to be.

hell, auburn's D stoned us, and they're terrible. god only knows what that bama d is going to do to JJ.

prolly knock his grouchy arse out of the game again like they did last year.

All I'm saying is that LSU matches up MUCH better than they did with Auburn.

Alabama

No.2 Nationally Scoring Defense (12.5 ppg)
No.3 Nationally Pass Efficiency (94.3)

Florida game wasn't. ST and TO's were the difference there.

We dominated Florida in every aspect of that game. We were easily better than them and the whole country saw it. Yet, we still had to come from behind and beat them in the final seconds....It's the same old sh*t week in and week out. I just cannot be optimistic that we will beat Alabama Saturday. Yes, I think it will be close (3-7pt range), but I just do not see us winning.

florida lost to mississippi state.

no basis of comparison between them, and auburn/bammer

florida is as mediocre as we are.

lsu has a defense.

they do not, however, have an offense.

the defense will suffer, and eventually fold as a result of our offense's minimal production.

obviously we match up better with bama's brand of football, but tit for tat...this offense must be able to sustain drives, and not just for field goals.

If the offense does what it did in the Auburn game we will lose - if it does what it did in the Florida game we will win.

I'm curious as to those who have already completely given in and is writing it off as a loss. As if LSU were playing the Pittsburgh Steelers.

For those people, it comes down to the same "Les Miles is an idiot" belief. They don't trust the team under his leadership, so they assume the worst.

Watch your replies, and see if that isn't the root cause.

i love our D but come the 4th quarter they are going to run out of gas. getting pounded by ingram and richardson all game is going to take it's toll. our offense is garbage and will never give our defense a chacne to get off the field. I expect this game to mirror last years where we hang around for 3 quarters and then get dominated in the 4th quarter. So predictable it's not funny.

I think Bama is definitely beatable,

If Bama tries to force a conventional offense down our face and we provide good coverage, I think we win.
