No I'm not. I'm just saying McCune is not the answer. He leaves everything up and his pitches are flat as shite.

I agree halfway with you.
Cune got shelled today. Just didn't have it.

But you ain't gonna win with no runs on the scoreboard.
None. Zero. Nada. Zip.
Hit the ball hard. Just didn't fall.
Pisses me off, but nothing wrong.

I did find it ironic that Laird came in and got a hit.

That's not what your OP says. You said Glenn should have started.

Glenn's SEC ERA is 5.40.

So if he pitched 4 or 5 innings today and pitched his average game without giving up any unearned runs, he would have given up between 3 and 4 runs.

McCune gave up 3.

McCune was not the problem today.

So our hitters gave them 4 runs?

No, but our hitters did give us ZERO runs. You just don't get it.

You have to start Glenn based on his last performance. If we were up 2-0 in the series, then maybe start McCune to see what he could do.

I knew this was coming. It's sucks that LSU starts with the best record in their illustrious history and because we lose a series we have serious managerial problems. I would rather lose now than in the regionals. You can't win them all. Don't be a whinning bitch.

Y'all don't get me all wrong. This team will still get to Omaha IMO. I just questioned his decision to start McCune with the way Glenn pitched last week. I was a mistake IMO

How many bad innings have you seen McCune throw this year?

Its okay to question the decision to start McCune, but regardless, we would have lost today. Glen would have given up a run at some point

This is the correct statement. Bama is not SC.

I didn't read any of this thread...but all I can say is that I have had zero confidence in Glenn from the moment I saw him pitch. Actually..he isn't a pitcher..he is a thrower. He doesn't have a clue where the strike zone is...just like Bonvillain.

That being said..I don't understand why McCune replaced Glenn as the Sunday starter. McCune looked like a batting practice pitcher out there. But since the offense couldn't generate one measly run...hard to blame pitching for today's loss.

Good god, from reading this alone, it seems like we're worse than Mississippi Valley State. The sky must be falling.

Yeah Glenn looked terrible in February to win the Sunday job.

Or Bonvillain, who retired 9 straight before getting yanked today.

Bonvillain has a horrible k/walk ratio. That just scares me
