Coach is looking to develop a fourth starter for post season play( SEC Tourney and following post season play) . He already knows what he has in Glenn and wanted to see Mcune in an SEC start. As others have said pitching was not the problem today.

Of course he wouldn't have thrown a complete game shutout. But if he goes 4 or 5 and holds them scoreless and the others do what they did, we go to extras.

All he had to do was not give up any runs for 5 innings just like he has done in ALL of his other SEC starts!
