Maybe it got old, but 10 seasons out of 11 Miles offenses scored more ppg than 2017.
As I said... Miles is gone... Ancient history. No point in comparing the two. If you don't like Orgeron then say so. Bringing Miles into it is pointless.

Well how is one to judge the effectiveness of the fire/hire?
I understand it causes you discomfort to bring these things to light and sorry.

Like has nothing to do with it.
I'm more concerned about the AD that fell for Ed and Derek's charade.

Yea, at least we knew we would be losing 3-4 games every year with miles after 2012.

As opposed to...?

It is better. He'll, if Les was here he still would have been shoving Brandon Harris down our throats.

except he started etling. It was the same bullshite most of yall said about jennings, no way Harris starts. You guys just make shite up.

And Les would have toss dived all over this weak arse conference. Most likely ends up 11-1 before a bowl game.

Miles had about 8 years to fix something as SIMPLE as getting a damn play called with more than 7 seconds left on the play clock.. and NEVER got it fixed. IF NOTHING ELSE at least O got THAT problem solved.
Simple shite like this my have saved Miles arse.

Firing Curley Hallman is a no risk venture.

Firing Les Miles was an incredibly risky venture.

You have to recognize that it would be very difficult to find a replacement that would come close to Miles record of accomplishment.

Many didn't like his style but the record speaks for itself. Not one season, but a decade. It's not easy to win at that level.

A hundred coaches would improve on Hallman. Outside of Nick Saban or Urban Meyer no replacement for Miles would guarantee Miles level of success, not even Fisher.

Firing Miles was a high risk move with little chance of reward.

Ed Orgeron is the freaking coach now. LSU is worse off in every way imaginable.

“ it was hard to watch”

Yeah, 9-4 with an arse kicking to a mediocre Mississippi State team, embarrassing loss to a Sunbelt team, another L to Bama, and a disappointing bowl game is much better to watch......in what world?

But at least he tried something different all the time, he was just a shitty coach, but he spoke well on TV.

He only tried something different because he couldn’t remember what he did before. F’in Curley.

You could see Miles had fun. And with all these other stick up the arse coaches out there it was great entertainment.

But I’m with you. It is time the public face of the university could be understood on tv without closed captioning.
