Does it? Auburn won the West a few years ago. Just last year the team who won the West got stomped in the National Championship.

That's a little unfair considering we were poised to win the SEC last year til hitting a brick wall on the grandest regular season stage ever.

If you were looking at it objectively you’d compare Dabo with O’s years at Ole Miss since that’s when O first became a head coach. That would be looking at it objectively.

O inherited a 10 year recruiting machine. Dabo certainly did not.
There's a huge difference in the two.
ETA: even with Dabo's success, LSU has still out recruited Clemson overall. (We just don't get the same caliber of QBs)
