LULZ of course you don’t. We should all pretend O’s Ole Miss tenure never happened.

It happened but please tell me how it’s affecting our program today

If he’s a total fricking idiot, I’d shudder to imagine what that makes OP.

You’re unsurprisingly missing the point by looking outside of the context of this thread. There are a number of reasons why there is no comparison between O and Dabo. One of them is O’s time at Ole Miss.

I can't disagree with that either. I'm for LSU. Right now O is doing a good job and our coach. I'm not going to exaggerate his success or failures just to make my position seem more legitimate and I think both sides of people on this board are equally idiots.

Why aren't you upset at the OP for bringing up this stupid topic in the first place?

You're directing your ire at the people that are calling out his stupidity.

Holy shite it’s a thread comparing O to Dabo, how else should we compare them other than looking at their comparative body of work?

Exactly. IMO his time at Ole Miss has nothing to do with the present at LSU. However, if one is to compare Orgeron to Dabo then his time at Ole Miss is an appropriate comparison.

For posting their comparative records side by side?

O had even lower expectations and more skeptics than Clemson fans of Dabo when he was hired, and rightfully so. So far, O has exceeded Dabo's results both on the field and in recruiting in his first years at the helm.

Where the frick do you people come from?

No. And I will give you this, you stick to your guns. Because in every single opportunity to either praise or slam coach O, you like clockwork, chose to slam. That is fine and your right, but what will you do if he has success? How could you ever possibly feel happiness with him at the helm? How could you ever be a Tiger? Deductive reasoning.

And I'm not saying you are right our wrong. But one side of this argument will be eventually and because I love LSU, I hope your side is wrong.

O cant hold Dabo's jock dude.
I didn't say he could. I'm just comparing circumstances and early results.

I'm not sure why so many people are so triggered by the idea that O MIGHT succeed. I thought it was a terrible hire at the time. Now I'm not so sure.

Also interesting that most of the responses are calling me an idiot rather than making substantive arguments.

I can be happy because I support the TEAM not specific individual coaches.

Dabo did not have Alabama and Auburn in his division.

Hoping coach O has barely started. O is from two great coaching trees. Pete Carroll and Jimmy Johnson. His first two, recruiting years were hobbled by the local; negative lunatics and negative media. He now morons on this chat board are insisting 5hat anything less than11 and 1 is unacceptable. We have 5 maybe six very competitive games. We are competing with the best program of the last 15 years. Miles let our talent level on the line of scrimmage go way down. We had no QB. Program a complete dumpster fire 12 months ago. And certainly in mid 2016.

Whatever agree he is ahead of Dabo in a more difficult situation.
