You must also be sick of knowing that every NC winning coach in the last 15 years won hardware within 3 years. Saban, Dabo, Meyer, Fisher, etc.

O has had the least success in his first 2 years vs all the major coaches currently at LSU

This is true. Since LSU won the title in 2003, winning the West meant you were the best team in the nation except for the 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2018 seasons.

Syracuse was in the Big East in Dabo's second year at Clemson.

Just sayin'.

You really need to take a look at the 2016 roster before you jump into a thread and post this nonsense.

And the funny think about this is, this isn't the first time you've posted this horseshite. And this isn't the first time you've been corrected.

If you were looking at it objectively you’d compare Dabo with O’s years at Ole Miss since that’s when O first became a head coach. That would be looking at it objectively

It's precisely that simple.

Orgeron was an assistant head coach, D-Line coach and recruiting coordinator at USC when they won 2 NC's under Pete Carrol. During that time in 2004, Orgeron was named national recruiter of the year as well.

As you can see, Orgeron excelled at a high level as an assistant to a great college head football coach in Pete Carrol. This is exactly the reason why Ole Miss made a high risk hire and named Orgeron Ole Miss head coach.

The posters here who completely dismiss O's Ole Miss tenure as head coach when comparing similar first year head coaches are being disingenuous and biased.

This is Orgeron's 2nd attempt at running an SEC program and by all accounts should be already making significant program changing impacts throughout the program. This is why Orgeron isn't given any extra length of rope and his clock is ticking even faster now in year 3 at LSU.

In short... Orgeron isn't on some learning curve at LSU and comparing his 2nd head coaching job to Dabo's 1st head coaching job is bullshite.

Yes Orgeron may have learned from his awful experience and tenure at Ole Miss...and then he might have learned from Pete Carroll and one of the all time great college programs. And then he might have learned from his time at LSU as an assistant watching Les be justifiably criticized for the slide from great to good. Ole Miss was a long time ago, let it go

Let’s just see what happens...he’s been better than Les was the last few years and why would any LSU fan be worried or angry that he might actually succeed?

O was given job when Alleva got his feelings hurt by Herman.

And I’m not sure about this, but if Clemson was Dabo’s First HC job at a major college, then no cause O’s first HC job was at Ole Miss and that was absolute shite job he did

Only if the bag man commitment is as big at LSU as it is at Bama and Clemson.

Who cares about comparing a coaches first, 2nd, or 3rd season to another coaches in an attempt to justify an argument that O is better in his first 3 years than someone else.

I don’t care what year he is in, I don’t care what is said in the off season. It all comes down to Wins and Loses.

If LSU and O want to “be BAMA” then they need to beat BAMA.

Oh shite I just came up with a comparison lol

How many points did Orgeron’s LSU team score vs BAMA the first 3 times he played them?

How about Clemson and Dabo?

Why do people say things that are not rooted in truth then expect to not be called out on it? You can't just say any stupid thing you want and then defend it by saying you're just being a good fan.

And then act “surprised” there is “negativity”.

And then there’s the beauty about Burrow being the best QB in the SEC because Tua “doesn’t do well under pressure”

Hard to find that 1 stat that Dabo beats O on in his 1st 2 years. What about Dabo's third year record? I'm not saying O is even in Dabo's league at this point. I'm just interested in watching how it goes from here. I certainly hope it continues though.

I hear you. It certainly will be interesting to see how it goes. So far, we are on that track. O just got to keep this train a rollin. Lot of fans hoping to see this train derail, lot of fans hoping it keeps on rolling, but only the future knows for sure.

We are?

Losing to Troy, getting our butts handed to us in the worse loss between LSU and Moo State in literally 100 years, haven't beaten Bama, hell haven't even had a lead in a game vs. Bama.

He's got a little more than that to do. I want to see him get it done, it's past time to beat Bama. He has to improve in a few areas though.

Miles let our talent level on the line of scrimmage go way down. We had no QB

take a look at the depth chart on the offense for the 2018 season there buddy boy. He left nothing on the offense from those last few classes in a year that should have been dominated with players from the 2014, 2015, and 2016 classes which would have comprised the redshirt seniors (2014), seniors and redshirt juniors (2015), and juniors and redshirt sophmores (2016 class). Just a hand full of role players from those classes on the 2018 offense.
