So does Kelly or Baker make the hire on DL & DB coaches?

Idk man but they better not over pay for them or some of these folks are going to freak out on a free site while they donate $0!

Ultimately Kelly but I’m sure when you make a guy the highest paid assistant in the sport he will have influence on that decision.

Spot on. I sure hope Woodward, Kelly, and Baker consult with the rants HoF travel ball coaches as well as the rants accounting department for a suitable salary range and approval before making any more hires. If not, we’ll have major major HR issues with the rants HR department.

Kelly and Baker have come to an understanding regarding staff. Hard to imagine that not being the case. Whatever that is be patient, and just appreciate House is gone.

Kelly is making the hire and will have the final say, but I'm sure he'll listen to Blake's opinions. After all it's Blake's defense, if he runs a press man coverage, DB coaches that coach better zone concepts aren't going to work that great.

It's such a weird thing that fans get caught up about.
It's literally not your money. How awesome is that?
And to people thinking we're just spending outrageously, think about the fact that we can't even keep up with the spending of Texas, aggie, Auburn, Georgia etc.

In Kelly we trust. I guess. Not to shabby to start. Two 10 win seasons even with the worst defense in LSU history. He got rid of the main guy in charge of that defense so LFG!!!

wouldn't it be nice to have these grossly overpaid coaches to know how to understand and teach any type of defense known to man? Why do we have to just either man or zone? Good grief, design your defenses to the strength of your personnel!

Kelly and Baker will form a staff, Baker has input. Kelly has the final say so. The AD has his part.

As i have gotten older the easier it has gotten to accept what you just stated. It sucks when we lose but me going nuclear ain't worth the stress because i have nothing to do with the decision of the coaches or players during a game. It's called Wisdom.
