I'm not proud of any SEC school's accomplishments except LSU's. Those 4 difference SEC national champions are competing with us more than other conference schools. They can eat shite and die as far as I'm concerned.
disagree.

If all other SEC teams sucked, as I think you want, then that dramatically reduces the drama and importance of our SEC games with them.

If Bama sucked, the incredible games we've had with them over the past 20 years wouldn't have existed.

Auburn is a good example. They stink now, and our recent games with them haven't been nearly what they were years ago, when they were one of the toughest games on our schedule.

I want massive games of huge importance against very tough competition. Sports is entertainment, you know.

Playing against shite teams and winning big means nothing to me.

Play against the best, test ourselves, and have close, hard hitting, dramatic games.

That means our opponents have to be worthy.

I don't disagree with your overall premise. It's just a fact though that in the foreseeable future the SEC will always have that notoriety. Especially now at 16 teams, at least half of those are going to be at the top of the sport in any given year.

Ole Miss? They haven't seen a national championship on a color TV and I hope it stays that way.

Ole Miss has always been insignificant to me and I had no interest in their games one way or the other. However, their pathetic hysteria and the hate they have for LSU made me realize how delusional they really are. They need to be humbled and reminded of why they have been and will always be the runts of the SEC. Geaux Canes!!!

I support the SEC being a strong conference but LSU’s interests will always come 1st for me. In this particular game, it does not serve LSU to have our coaches not 100% focused on LSU.

From a financial and practical standpoint; it's better for LSU if Miami wins. LSU gets all it's coaches back on campus, and LSU doesn't have to pay out more in bonuses to the coaches we hired.

Yes. I would not root for Ole Miss if they were playing the Russians.

Given how both Ole Miss and Disney/ESPN have crapped all over Lane Kiffen and LSU, this needs to end tonight. I've never liked Miami, but:

In the last 20 years, LSU is 6-15 vs Bama. It’d be much better for LSU if Bama sucked.

It Miami wins, no more "bonuses" from LSU! Besides that, it doesn't matter who wins.

This isn’t about the coaches. I cheer against every SEC team except LSU. We compete for players and prestige against all other SEC teams. I would prefer that they all lose and that only LSU ever win. Go Canes!
