I hope the LSU players and coaching staff see this.
I bet not a single one of them understand how tournament baseball works. And more importantly, that there are factors often out of your control that can benefit your team or, gasp, benefit another team in the tournament.
Thanks so much for pointing this out, hopefully the Supreme Court will correct this injustice, it’s so offensive and unfair.

That’s tournament baseball. It is what it is. People need to move on. We have Arkansas tomorrow and maybe Thursday. Coastal isn’t guaranteed to win tomorrow. Louisville can play and will give coastal all they can handle.

Even without the rain delay it’s still unequal not sure how you could say otherwise. One side gets more days off than the other. But yes agreed, the rain delay enhances the inequality.

A full strength LSU vs a full strength Coastal Carolina favors LSU but it will be a tough matchup regardless if we get there. I’ll take that scenario every day

Some guy named gar90 proposed this this morning and it makes a ton of sense:

My imperfect solution would be to keep Friday and Saturday as is, make the 1-0 game Sunday, the 0-1 games Monday, then you can get back on schedule as it is now. That way bracket 2 only has 1 game off schedule in the beginning compared to bracket 1. Once you get to Sunday you are all on the same schedule for a full week.

Baseball players are use to playing every day. There is such thing as too much rest.. esp when you have won 25 straight. I'm sure they are itching to get back out there
