makes what all ok? Why are you mad?

Miles still speaks highly of him. He had his pro day at LSU. He's gonna be on the sidelines for certain games and part of this program for the rest of his life. You can either deal with it or just get butt hurt whenever he gets mentioned.

And I once saw JJ on the sideline last year during the Bama game. wasn't too happy about that but I've let him and his career at LSU go.

On that note...

He came to a couple of games last year, and he was let on the sidelines.

HOWEVER

At the Kent St. game, the guys manning the gate where the band enters the field (who have been at that gate for about 5 years) wouldn't let him on the field. I was in the stands right above the portal. Watched him try to get in 3 times, try calling someone to get him in, and saw him resort to, "Do you know who I am??" (The gate guys claimed they did not)

I chuckled.

That's actually kind of fricked up. So we only let famous or popular ex players onto the sidelines? How does that work?

We" don't call anybody and whether or not "we" want to see the guy there is totally beside the point. I don't think les would have him back on the sideline. IMO it would be a distraction... Hell Tyran himself would prob recognize that and decline anyways. If I were a football coach (at any level) and had to dismiss a player for breaking team rules I don't think I could in good faith and concious do what's best for my team by inviting that particular player back. That's just the way I see it.
like you said it may be too soon but if he stays on the right path clm should have him back to talk to the team about how getting in trouble and breaking team rules got him kicked off the team and almost cost him his career....

The fact he did more than those other guys did still doesn't take away from the fact he was kicked off the team.
Are you really this fricking stupid?

Les really doesn't mention him anymore and The fact he was at pro day has absolutely no bearing of him attending a game from the sidelines.
You have no clue where he's gonna be during any LSU game much less if hell be cheer leading eating grass beside LM.

I get the fact you still jerk it to your honey badger poster you got for free at fan day 3 years ago, but don't mistake logic for a boycrush you have.
Ex players that get kicked off the team for disciplinary reasons have no business on the sidelines.
That's pretty basic.

Dunno dude. Guess they haven't forgiven him yet. Maybe they were trying to save him from being booed. Some Greeks near me noticed him and started booing, but luckily it died quickly.

They need to stay at the hotel in Nola and rest so we can beat the Saints on Sunday.

I'm sure that will be a popular opinion in here...

Wait... I missed this. You're saying Jordan Jefferson was denied access to the field last weekend at the Kent St. game?

Biggest troll on this board. Do not feed.

TM would be welcome back for a game 100%.

Miles dismissed him from the team, but he could have possibly been accepted back if he cleaned himself up. Anyone with a brain knew that was not going to happen because he would almost certainly go pro, but their was no animosity in his departure.

It tore Miles up to have to do it. He didn't disgrace the school or himself. He made bad choices that hurt himself, and he paid a huge price for it.

He will always be one of the most amazing players to ever wear the purple and gold, and those that hate on him and refuse to acknowledge his place in the program's history for smoking marijuana likely have other issues that are the real reason for their hatred.

TM7 forever LSU!!!!

Because he served his punishment for his mistake. Nothing wrong with Les showing him some goodwill IMO

Seems like your the one with the bad feelings in the way.

I would happily welcome back the most dominant college defender of the last 20 or so yrs. What he does on the football field is just a thing of beauty.

I swear to god.... Tyrann mathieu could frick some of peoples girls right in front of you and you'd give the guy a standing ovation and beer for the road.

This isn't about TM... It's about the appropriateness of having a player that was dismissed back on field with your team.
I'm not sure if its ever happened on any football field,... I wonder why?

Furthermore something leads me to believe if we were talking about any other player not named Tyran this wouldn't be an issue.

By the way u hate him so much it would seem like he did give ur mom the bidness. He was the main reason had an undefeated season in '11. Hell bc of him and the rest of the D we almost won the NC with 2 bad QBs.

I, like man others, enjoyed seeing him on the field. I also know its just a game so i dont let things burn me up inside when bad things happen to LSU.

They invited him back for LSU's Pro Day. Clearly his relationship with LSU isn't sour.
