not really football but otherwise I agree.
Baseball pitching you always see pitching staffs condense

I noticed the same thing on LSU Gymnastics. We are down to the core competitors now.

Do you genuinely think you know what you are talking about when you post? Do you know you are an over emotional bitch that doesn’t have the slightest clue what it takes to be a coach?
Serraneaux/burreauxxx has nothing else to troll about for attention so he has to pick apart Jay’s comments at fricking media day before the season.
College baseball offenses have never been better than they are now. We threw a lot of young guys making their first road SEC appearances. A lot of guys did not execute the way they should have. They are going to grow and improve.
Take your personal vendetta against the baseball coach back to the SECRant or Facebook where some idiots might agree with you

That was his first time in a high pressure SEC situation.

It’s conference play now and a top 10 matchup on the road, and you basically had 3 innings to seal the series.
Further, Jay says he tries to win every game, so, if true, why not go to Evans in the 7th with a 1-run lead and 8 outs to get?

He did a great job developing the players he inherited Dugas, Beloso, Milazzo, Jobert, Thompson all improved as hitters
We will agree to disagree on this.

now we’re looking at guys like Jared Jones, Milam, Jake Brown, Ethan Frey starting to take big steps forward.
We will see. I noticed you omitted Larson lol

but go look at Ob% from the past 15 years and see exactly the effect Jaynhas had on hitting
In lesser conferences

If Skip says you’re only ever gonna have a few good pitchers, is your contention that Jay should just run those few guys into the ground, rather than seeing if one of those other arms has it?
But Jay said we have 12 capable relievers, yet 7 failed last night. Jay also says he plays to win every game.

More than 8. And he does.
Names?

burrie, just remember that in 2023 you were giving these same exact takes, and LSU ended up winning the national championship.

Statistically you can’t really disagree.

But also, we are seeing it.
Does every player need to develop for JJ to be a good coach?
Because then we can just agree good coaches don’t exists

Its the 3rd week of March. Quick, tell me who on the staff will be those 8 going into regional play.
Or, would you rather make that call in late April?

Jay loves to leave his fingerprint on every outcome. Dude overthinks everything. Just keep recruiting and let the LSU program do its thing. Just sail the boat and let our studs play ball.

This is the same as saying every player drafted in the MLB Draft has to make the big leagues or the team doesn’t know how to develop talent.
Not every player develops the same.
Not every player arrives on campus a finished product.
Players at this age are much more inconsistent than older players.

That’s baseball.
Capable doesn’t mean consistent or reliable.

Ding ding ding ding.
Jay has also said the difference between players at this level and professional baseball is consistency.

Skip also said: you don't know jack shite about your team until at least tax day. It's March 23 in the first true road environment.. Relax
Posted on 3/23/25 at 1:56 pm to burreauxxx
Let the man learn his team early in the season. You are seriously a POS.
You created a, “I thought Jay Johnson was a hitting coach” thread after the first loss. Pretty sure LSU ranks very highly in the SEC in several offensive stats.

Well, I'll take positive consistency, which the bull pen needs to settle the F down and start taking care of business on the mound.
