Skip Bertman injured in one car accident, taken to hospital, doing "okay" per LSU

Bertman was evaluated at the hospital and suffered “bumps and bruises,” according to an LSU athletics spokesperson. He is in good spirits and is doing okay, LSU said after the crash.
Video shared with WBRZ showed Bertman’s car flipped on it’s side on Riverbend Boulevard near the entrance to the community.
Bertman’s vehicle was the only vehicle involved.

How old is he? Might be that time to consider him not driving himself around BR bad traffic.

Maybe he hit the median at a really bad angle and at a high rate of speed. Just guessing.
He may have hit the gas when he wanted to hit the brakes or something. He's old, they do stuff like that.

Only other thing I can think of is maybe he swerved to avoid hitting an aninal and then, as you said, hit a curb or median which caused the car to pop up awkwardly.

I saw ole Skip at the Football Ops building a couple of weeks ago. He was looking pretty old. Might be time to have someone drive him around.
