I wish they would put a few of these up in Birmingham just to rub it in their noses.

Like that statue of Gleason's punt block outside the Superdome.

I see that 3 Florida and/or Wake Forest fans downvoted this.

That was that idiot Chris Burke mocking coach O or trying to emulate the Cajun accent “Go Tigers” and he’s a damn moron. Take that dude off of the CWS show. I like Kyle Peterson and of course Big Ben, I even like Eduardo Perez but Burke is a clown show who still thinks he’s cool. I bet he was the worst kind of teammate.

I like it even more that it wasn’t planned, it just happened that Skenes is a big dude and was able to carry Milazzo. It all happened organically which makes it even better.

Arguably the biggest star on your team...in a moment where it would have been completely reasonable for him to excitedly run to the mound to celebrate...selflessly remains at the dugout to help an injured and far lesser known player get to the mound with everyone else to celebrate with his teammates.

I don't think anyone ever did, but if a person/GM had even the slightest of concerns about Skenes's character, that act eliminated all of those. Skenes didn't do that for a photo-op or to go viral on social media. He simply did it because it was the right thing to do....even though he knew it meant he was going to be the last person to get to the celebration because of it.

Skenes is a top guy, I would say the service taught him that but he seems like he was that kinda guy his whole life

Before the final pitch, I told my wife, I hope they carry milazzo out and toss him on top of the pile. Strike 3 happens and here comes Skenes out of the dugout with Milazzo on his back. It was the best thing I’ve seen in a long time. Couldn’t be more proud of this team’s accomplishments and the character of each guy on the roster.

This was my favorite moment of the celebration and I am so thrilled it’s a billboard. I would love to have this as a sticker—my kids would put it on their laptops.

Well, he was in the Air Force so he could only be a top or a bottom.

I don't think he learned to be that way at Air Force. I think it's the reason he was at Air Force in the 1st place.

On the ESPN audio feed at the time Millazo is hopping before jumping on the pile you can hear "Go Tigers, Go Tigers" voice over.
I think the Geaux Tigers is from SportsCenter after the game. Scott Van Pelt was hitting a button with that audio constantly through the post game coverage.

LSU diverted some moneys from the College of Humanities & Social Sciences budget.

Money for People.
