Nothing to do with the 30mph south wind?

It must suck to live life so miserably
It probably had something to do with the wind
But a 450ft home run doesn’t have shite to do with wind

No, it wasn't. Closer to 15 mph.

Do it in a real game. I love LSU baseball more than any LSU sport but I promised not to get caught up in any preseason hype. Bottom line is the pitching should be great but Hill is unproven and has barely pitched many innings but his potential is through the roof. Lots of new guys in the lineup that have never faced college pitching. College baseball will be super stacked so hosting a regional is no guarantee this year as there are probably 6-7 teams as good or better on paper than LSU this year. I believe the pitching will have to carry the team and hope the 3-4 freshman in the lineup can hit worth a lick

Bruh I don't care if they had hurricane winds out there blasting a 430+ HR is power.

Dugas is a player that regular fans probably won’t ever appreciate. High OPS but low batting average doesn’t make a fan favorite around here.

Sorry but they have to start with practice. Its not like they are giving batting practice statistics as CPM said Beloso routinely hits them out of the park. Yeah, it doesn’t count for anything, but it does mean there are plenty of people who can turn a game around with one swing. Why can’t you be excited about the potential a team has and at the same time not make any bold CWS predictions or even hosting a regional? Whether anybody hypes them up above their potential or not, it won’t change the outcome of the season.

Great...we will probably get two hits as a team against Nichols state.

1) Tallest team I think we've ever had under Mainieri. Position players average well over 6'. Pitchers probably average over 6'2".

2) All position players except for Beloso (who was dressed out but did not participate in any part of today's practice) practiced bunting for almost 45 minutes after the "regular" batting practice.

3) Giovanni DiGiacomo's beard and hair puts the Oak Ridge Boys to shame...

Hilliard gave up 2 HRs (Bianco & Thompson); Millas 3 (Doughty, Dugas & Safford) and Brady 1 (Dugas).
