I think everyone expected him to be a very good technical WRs coach
Honestly I think Everyone’s #1 concern is that we have a OC and a Passing Game coordinator with a combined 2 years of coordinating experience in the last 20 years.
All while we’re supposed to be running a cutting edge new age offense.

Wasn't it just a year ago that everyone--including the O-pumpers--was having orgasms over Matt Canada being "miked up"?
You know--the same O-pumpers who then said Canada was a "cancer" and "glad to be rid of him" when O wouldn't let him run his offense?

I like the video and I hope he does well, but my confidence would not be persuaded by that video. Just Google "wide receiver coach mic'd up" and you will see hundreds of coaches preaching similar things. The WR group possesses a lot of raw talent and athleticism. If he is half as good as Orgeron thinks that he is, then that group should be a strength.

No one is questioning his coaching. But hiring a guy as a full time coach to take one of the 10 spots when he won't recruit is what people cared about. Jesus stop with these type posts!

Really? this video is considered something to be hyped about? I get not wanting to be a nega, but I've heard the same or better out of High School coaches when dealing with receivers.

You guys act as if none of the past coaches at LSU could coach.
I remember when adam henry had them catching balls around the field goal post and no one had seen that before and got everyone all excited. Now our wrs were good under him, but this isnt some big deal.
The guy can coach, its the recruiting people are worried about.
