I don't think it's an argument. More like a correction.

Dang...I should look in to a keg. I spend 20 bucks a four pack for my Dogfish 120. I have a hard time, no, I can't drink, nor do I understand the existence of light beer.

Can't even imagine what a keg of DF120 would cost. Or what you'd look like if you drank it.

How much are kegs running everyone, and where are they buying them?

I sell more beer than any restaurant so I get a decent discount on the amount I order. I've been getting pounded on the price increases over the passt year. $100 a keg is pretty fair imo.

FYI, all the wholesalers in Baton Rouge went up on their prices on Oct 1 by $5 on most 1/2 barrels.

or the most likely thing..... you bought into their marketing campaign.

I find tap shiner to be tasty, never drank one out of a bottle. I have never seen a commercial or ad that I know of for it. So no it wouldnt be the massive marketing campaign.

No more than the onslaught of PBR drinkers are doing it for marketing. The find it cheap and ok to drink, so they drink it.

This was in the 80s. and it wasnt commercials. it was make a nice label and quadruple the price. It worked.

That sounds alot like my setup, only not so many tables and bag chairs.

Sometimes I feel like a roadie for a rock band with all the wires and stuff I carry in trunks and storage containers.

Yeah, I know the feeling. A couple guys in the krewe and I were talking about dropping out as official members next year and just showing up at 10 am (after setup), paying the ten bucks for the wrist band, eating and drinking all day, then leaving about 10 minutes before breakdown. I swear I work harder to "have fun" tailgating than I do at my job (construction).

My storage shed is 8x12 and it would be practically empty if there wasn't tailgate crap all over
