I see nothing weird with being happy we won this game while also still feeling a bit concerned about the future. This team’s track record equals inconsistency.

You've given no specifics about why you're concerned about the future of the program. There's several positive signs with this team pointing to the future of the program that you are ignoring because you're emotionally compromised because of your affection for Wade.

Yep. I’ve gotten sucked into the shite in the past but try to avoid it.

Wade was an awesome coach, hate it ended the way it did. I think Mac has SOME chops and does well. If he doesn’t whatever I’ll hope the next guy does well

Absolutely. Finish this season strong and set the conditions for a successful offseason to propel the program forward.

Mac is rebuilding this program and will be here for years...settle in and support him.

Anyone who couldn't see how close this team was to being good is crazy.

Huge program win on the road

I guess I'm crazy. But in this case I'm happy to be wrong. The tigers looked good today and I am more optimistic towards McMahon than ever. Great win today.

Eta: Hunter Dean has played much better the last 2 games and Jordan Wright seems to be a leader

Look I would love nothing more than to eat crow and say how wrong I was about McMahon. Big win. Proud of the guys.

21-5 says otherwise.
USC is overrated. Their schedule is weak with 1 maybe 1 impressive victory.

From portal recruiting/eval to playing rotations to defensive approach, to fan engagement I’ve expressed plenty of thoughts

Like close losses? Goodie. The team plays hard? Should they, like, NOT play hard?

Oh please

You are the least self aware person on this site , granted you’re an absolute retard so that’s a valid excuse i guess

While I agree - I think they are a team that has overachieved and are honestly about at our level in relative talent, still a great win. Comeback win on road and finally making plays down the stretch.

Loud and proud. In my circle of work, social and family very few of them GAF about LSU basketball, but they know I do and my cell was bombed with Geaux Tiger texts!!!

So we’re good now because we beat an extremely overrated opponent ?
why are you so miserably unhappy about a great come from behind win on the road to a top 11 opponent? Are you really an LSU fan?

Jordan Wright, Jalen Cook, and Hannibal weren't good portal evals? We held South Carolina to their 2nd lowest scoring total this season.

McMahon and Wade are two different coaches. His "fan engagement" will be driven by the program's success, not dressing up in costumes and handing out free chicken fingers.

You bitch when we lose by 20 and bitch when we have close losses clearly there's no pleasing you.

“Jordan Wright, Jalen Cook, and Hannibal weren't good portal evals?”

You’ve said they sucked all season long

Carolina beat Tennessee in Obnoxiousville this season. Beating Carolina is a big deal for our team this season.

We have now won 5 SEC games. We won only 2 SEC games last season. That is improvement, IMO. Maybe my goal of 9 SEC wins for this team is doable...maybe.

We just do not have enough SEC level talent to break back into the top 4 of the SEC where CWW had us. My opinion of whether CMM can get it done at LSU will be a decision I make in March, 2025. I'm gonna give him three full seasons before I decide.

2 of those are BR or BR area kids who wanted to come home and the other came with him from Murray St. if i was talking to a non chromosome deficient individual i’d say “but you knew that…” but…

Im talking being able to get guys who don’t have binding ties to La or who played for him at previous stops (juice hill anyone?)

He’s gonna need a big churn in the portal again this year
