Texas A&M is Mississippi State located in a state with a much larger population. Plain and simple.
They aren’t top tier like LSU, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and Florida. Also hate to say it but big brother Texas is actually closer to being top tier than A&M. Just sit down and embrace your status.

They made the national championship game last year. Only two teams were able to do that. They may not have the same history as LSU or are on the same level, I’m just pointing out that they won a bunch of games and nearly won a title just a year ago.
Believe me, Jay Johnson doesn’t feel that way about any team.

Come on. Last year LSU didn’t make it out of their out of state regional and AM lost in game 3 of the CWS finals by 1 run.

Why did they start out #1 after a coaching change? Genuinely curious as I don’t pay attention to their team. All their players return after being in finals last yr im guessing?
