Arden Key is an idiot, and my opinion has nothing to do with what he said
But I can see O being a coach that will throw a player under the bus even if he played hard if O thinks that player slighted him in anyway.
I see Les Miles as a coach that would stand up for a player no matter what.
Thats just the read I get on their personalities. I have always seen O as a used car salesman always looking out for numero uno, and Les as a loyal to a fault guy
Both can be advantageous in big time football and I personally dont care either way as long as the coach brings Ws to LSU

What benefit would O have to badmouth players. The dude is a recruiting machine. He would never do that. Getting players drafted is key to recruiting.
I am not the biggest O fan and even I see this is stupid. You got the Giants with the most random pick ever in the first round. Shite happens. Don't point fingers.

Does he think Coach O doesn’t want every LSU player going as high as they possibly can?
Coach O understands how important the draft is for his recruiting. To think otherwise is ridiculous and stupid.

Well, it's in his very best interest to have players drafted as high as possible.
This goes for any head coach. Not just O, The worst possible thing would be to sabotage high draft picks.

Every one used to run and scream on here when a player, like Blackwell, dogged Les and it was somehow proof that Les sucked as a coach.
Usually it's just a player that feels slighted, and not wanting to take personal responsibility.

No sh*t, but if you actually think about it rather than settling for the first thought that comes to your mind you'll understand that all college coaches have to have a good relationship with the pro scouts and colleges (just like high school coaches with college coaches). If you put your name out there on a guy and get him a scholarship or drafted with a high pick and that dude turns out to be garbage, people will stop believing you and drafting/recruiting your players. So, it's in all coaches best interest to give honest evaluations/opoinions on guys.
