Not Europe but to South America and Cuba for some good baseball players. Seems ncaa doesnt care if they are professionals form other countries.

MLB teams can sign those players at birth.

MLB teams have invested heavily in scouting networks and academies, especially in Latin America and Asia to identify promising young players. 14-15-year-old kids from the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Cuba, Puerto Rico, etc.... are being recruited and promised to play for MLB teams just like their heroes - Juan Soto, Fernando Tatis, David Ortiz, Manny Machado, Pedro Martinez, Adrian Beltre, Robinson Cano, etc .... MLB also takes care of the VISAS to get these kids into American and part of their farm system.

From Seattle. He didn't recruit anyone internationally. He took a guy out of the portal.

Did you do ANY research other than looking up where he was born ? Ishikawa played his first year of college baseball in 2024 at the University of Asia in Tokyo, Japan. Came to the States in 2025.

As Project noted, the kid played for Seattle last year as a FR, had great numbers, and entered the portal. Georgia didn't recruit him out of HS, he was signed from the portal.

FYI - here are Ishikawa's pitching statistics for this year.

14.1 IP
1 W and 1 L
21 H
24 R
23 ER
16 BB
20 SO
5 WP
3 HBP
season ERA 14.44

Compared to LSU pitching statistics this year, this kid would be at the bottom of the list in WHIP and ERA if he played for LSU.

Jay has won 2 titles in 3 years. What would be the General's Approach? You want him to coach McNeese and then NC State and then come back?

2 titles in a college sport statistically speaking no one gives a FLYING FLUCK about.

It's EONS easier to win a title in college baseball than it is in men's basketball. I know you Jethros don't want to here this, but it's true.

The best baseball coach in America doesn’t need to take the advice of someone who hasn’t won shite

Eons is a unit of time. Given that you typed it in all caps, you very assuredly meant to use that word, so I just wanted to let you know that it makes no sense in the context you used it. And no one gives a shite about your opinion on college baseball.

Not only is this bullshite, but I just wanted to note your obsession with Wade is weird.

I love Wade and glad we got him back, but you take that shite to another level.
