Gotta admit, it begins to look like he is either injury prone of he's dogging it and passing time until the draft.

He played in 15 games in his freshman season.

Last year he was injured in the 3rd game of the season. Yet, he played in every game until sitting out the final two. Is is reasonable to think that after LSU got destroyed by Alabama and was sitting at 3-5 he decided to stop trying to play with an injury in the final two games? Maybe(probably). But he hasn't been "injury prone".

Could his current injury be worse than what Ed is saying? Of course. But it is also just as likely they feel no need to rush a 3rd year starter back to practice in camp when they know he has the experience and ability to step in and play with less camp practice than other, less experienced guys. It's not that uncommon in the NFL. Veteran guys are given more leeway when it comes to camp if they are suffering from minor injuries.

Stingley is going to be in all the physical battles he can handle once the season starts. No need to grind on him now if it isn't completely necessary. If we get to the week of the UCLA game and he is still limited or not practicing it will then be time to worry

But all last year he played hurt they said. He was never 100% was their excuse for why he gave up on plays.

CFB will be similar to CBB soon enough inasmuch as the best players will not play much.

Or maybe the coaches realize he is a Top 5 pick and don't want to jeopardize his future so they give him extra time off?

He needs to put together two elite seasons.

Stingley has played in 22/25 games since he came to LSU, and now we want to make him a guy that dogs it?

They should explain to him that DeVonta Smith is in the NFL now. He can come out of hiding.

Stingley's good but he's glass. And Ricks is a better cover guy quite honestly.

My biggest worry is not being in title contention in game 9 or 10 and he find a reason to not play anymore. Just being real….

Sucks cause these kids are learning a new system and need to work together. So I do not think they are sitting him because he is just so good he doesn’t need practice. Must be an ankle, which I’m sick of hearing about that injury being from South Louisiana.

I am slightly concerned. O was on WWL tonight talking about a rash of minor ankle and hamstring injuries that the team is dealing with. He did not go in to detail about individual players. I just hope Stingly doesn't have one of those hamstring injuries that can linger all season. O did say he would be 100% by opening day.
