There’s no need to overdo this. Helmet sticker ML in black. We liked him but he’s not our coach. Keep it simple.

We were talking about this at lunch today. Although it will take a lot of orchestrating, my favorite idea I was on the first play of the game, have the defense slowly walk into an offsides position and have the quarterback just chunk the ball down the field into open space while Mike Leach’s face is up on the Jumbotron.
Decline the penalty replay first down.

Okay, I would 100% buy that, whether it was a Leach tribute or not.
And I'd like to see some recognition, but not a big production. Moment of silence, black ML sticker or patch, something subtle but visible. As others have said, he's an honored coach, but he wasn't our coach.
I'd expect any significant tribute to come during the State game next year.

Coach Mike Leach was that man you could go to key west with or look for Bigfoot in Washington state. If his family ever puts a giant collection of stories and photos together, I would buy it pronto. I am really bummed that coach is gone. Kind of a shock really. It kind of hurts.
